Unlucky News About Wide Receiver Michael Thomas From The Saints.

Michael Thomas' return to play won't be for at least another week, so Saints supporters will have to wait. The All-Pro wide receiver was ruled out of Week 8 on Friday.

Thomas' toe ailment has kept him from playing since Week 3. This week, he was seen at the practice facility, but he was unable to take part in any of the team's practices.

When Thomas will make his way back to the field of play is unknown at this time.

Thomas wasn't the only important player to be declared out on Friday, which is unfortunate for the Saints.

Dennis Allen, the head coach, also revealed that Jarvis Landry was out.

Thomas will play again this year, according to Allen. But he didn't give a date for Thomas's return.

Thomas has 16 receptions for 171 yards and three touchdowns in just three games this season.

This season, the Saints have placed a lot of reliance on rookie receiver Chris Olave. This weekend they'll keep doing it, especially because Thomas and Landry won't be there.
