Titans announce their regrettable choice regarding Ryan Tannehill.

Following this weekend's Ryan Tannehill bombshell, the Tennessee Titans are prepared to give the keys to rookie Malik Willis for the first time.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that Tannehill missed the walkthrough on Saturday

because he is still battling a sickness and is also dealing with an ankle sprain.

Prior to the Titans officially ruling him out, Willis completed all of this week's first-team reps in practise.

Willis, a quarterback from Liberty, was chosen by Tennessee in the third round of this year's drought,

despite many people's predictions that he would go first overall.

In the preseason, he displayed some of that kind of promise, but not enough for the team to decide to use him right away.

As the Titans attempt to maintain their top spot in the AFC South, he will now make his NFL debut against the division rival Texans.
