Russell Westbrook receives brutally frank counsel from LeBron James.

On Thursday night, the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Los Angeles Lakers, 103-97. The defeat left the Lakers with a record of 0–2 for the year.

Russell Westbrook, a Lakers point guard whom the team chose against trading over the offseason, shot 0 for 11 throughout the game.

After the game, LeBron James, who had 20 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 blocks, met with the collected media and gave his honest advise in response to Westbrook's terrible

field performance. He has experience. All of us have had awful shooting nights. I have experienced awful shooting nights. In this league, everyone has experienced poor

shooting nights. Who cares? In the video that Arash Markazi shared, LeBron says, "I think he had a terrific game.

"He was tuned in and focused defensively. Despite pushing the pace, he failed to make any shots. That's alright. Five steals—two consecutive ones at a crucial moment...

simply failed to make any shots. That's fine, then.James gave Westbrook some unwanted counsel, but Westbrook didn't take it.

When the Lakers play the Portland Trailblazers on Sunday, James, West brook, and the team will be aiming for their first victory of the year.
