On Wednesday, the New Orleans Saints reveal bad news regarding injuries.

When they play in Week 7's opening Thursday Night Football game, the New Orleans Saints will once again be shorthanded.

Five players have already been declared out of the Saints' game against the Arizona Cardinals, the team said on Wednesday.

Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry, two wide receivers, and Marshon Lattimore, the starting cornerback, are all on the list.

Additionally excluded from the game are tight end Adam Trautman and offensive guard Andrus Peat.

Due to a foot issue, Thomas will miss his fourth straight game, while Landry will miss his third straight contest with an ankle injury.

Due to an abdomen ailment, the team's top cornerback, Lattimore, will miss a second straight game.

The Saints did not acknowledge the quarterback injury on Wednesday.

The squad will wait until Thursday to decide who will start behind the centre, according to head coach Dennis Allen.
