Fans of college football are calling for the dismissal of one head coach.

The No. 15 Kansas State Wildcats defeated the West Virginia Mountaineers 48–31 on Saturday, dropping their record to 4–7 overall.

After taking over the Mountaineers program in 2019, this defeat confirms that head coach Neal Brown's third losing campaign.

Following Saturday's discouraging defeat, West Virginia supporters are demanding Brown's dismissal. One remarked, "Neal Brown has drained all the joy out of a fervent fanbase."

Another person said, "Gotta feel for the seniors that dealt with Neal Brown their entire college time.

Another person remarked, "Neal Brown better be fired tomorrow."

At this point in his four seasons with West Virginia, Brown had a record of 21–25.

His sole successful season with the program occurred in 2020, during the abbreviated COVID-19 season.

The Mountaineers' final regular-season game of the year will take place against the No. 22 Oklahoma State Cowboys the following weekend.
