The NFL community responds to the big Dallas Cowboys news.
After losing to the Green Bay Packers 31-28 in OT on Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys are hoping to rebound this week when they play the top-ranked Minnesota Vikings.
Additionally, it appears like the team will be more fully staffed this coming week.
Mike McCarthy, the head coach of the Cowboys, revealed during his news conference on Friday
that a number of important players, including star running back Ezekiel Elliott,
are expected to play this week. Since sustaining a Grade 2 MCL sprain during the Cowboys' Week 7 victory over the Detroit Lions, Elliott has been out.
Elliott only had to miss two games due to his injury because the Cowboys had a bye week in Week 9.However, despite Elliott's absence, the Cowboys offense hasn't
suffered due to Tony Pollard's outstanding performance.Due to Elliott's injury, Pollard had consecutive 100-yard running games and four touchdowns in the two games.
The team's future distribution of carries between the two running backs will be interesting to watch.
